Choice is integral to life in the West. We take it for granted generally, but when it comes to salvation we often miss the point. It is so easy in the hustle and bustle of the end-of-year busyness to lose our joy in the Lord. Paul’s greeting in Ephesians 1 reminds us of the reality and purpose of our election as well as the attitude of the called.
