God-centred Depression (Psalm 42:1–11)
Last Sunday night we heard from Psalm 102 about depression: some of its causes and the way towards its cure. This evening we will look at Psalm 42, which also has reference to depression, but this one is of a different kind. This depression is what I refer to as being “God-centred depression.” In a sense, this kind of depression is caused by God. But it is also cured by God.
