CloseOur society has a way of asking questions that seem to relieve us of responsibility to take action. Questions abound, but no one wants to hear the answers of wisdom. Answers and answer-givers are not tolerated. Jesus faced similar social challenges. He gave wise answers to difficult questions, but frequently His answers were not received. In our text, Jesus answers a difficult question from a religious leader, and His answer throbs with authority for all people of all eras.
