CloseWe live in an age in which everything is described as extraordinary: epic, awesome, the next big thing, etc. Our text begins in a most ordinary way—no disease, no demon possession, no religious debate—but, thanks to the narrow-mindedness of the disciples, an ordinary occasion turns into an occasion of extraordinary teaching.
