CloseThe Christian life requires two pillars in order for it to be sustained to the good of our souls and to the glory of God. These pillars of course are the Word of God and Prayer. In fact, Paul tells us in 1 Timothy 2 that prayer is to “of first priority.” This important passage reveals the church at prayer. As a congregation we are growing in this vital spiritual exercise but of course we are always to persevere for improvement. In this study of 1 Timothy 2:1-9 we will look at several truths relating to the church at prayer. May these truths increasingly characterise Brackenhurst Baptist Church and beyond.
