CloseRoyal weddings have a way of grabbing public attention. Psalm 45 is a song about a royal wedding—the marriage of a king to his princess. We don’t know who the immediate historical king was, but ultimately the psalm points quite clearly to the marriage of David’s greater Son (the Lord Jesus Christ) to His bride (the church).
