CloseSadly, the Sabbath had been desecrated from being the Sabbath of the Lord to the sabbath of man—and primarily of self-righteous, religious man. There was little delight because little devotion. And this was due to an absence of relationship. But with the arrival of Jesus, the Son of Man, it would take on a very different, and a much better, form. The old was passing away and—look!—all was becoming new.
