CloseChristians always live with the tension of perceived allegiance. While we know that we should respectfully obey governing authorities, it is difficult to do that when those governing authorities do not seem to be labouring as God’s servants. When Jesus was faced with the question, rather than entirely delegitimising human government, he answered that there were two sides to the coin.
