The Beginning of the End (Mark 13:14–23)
With the turmoil that many in the early church were facing, they needed the encouragement that history was moving under the hand of the King. They needed an understanding of the times. The Olivet Discourse would equip them for this very thing. Though we live centuries from the events prophesied in this sermon, the truths contained in it help us in our own times of turmoil to rest in the truth that history is under the control of King Jesus.
