CloseRevelation 10 is also such an important chapter because it brings us to the end of the focus the destruction of the city. From Revelation 11 onward, the prophecy seems to focus on the destruction of the temple. The latter section does include prophecies of the city’s destruction but that is not the major focus. The theme of Revelation 10, then, is that the final judgement is here: the temple is about to fall.
