CloseAs Christians journey through the wilderness, they must keep before them the good news of what God has done for believing sinners through his Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. This is the good news that Mark records in his gospel. Mark wants to remind his Christian readers that the gospel is good news. He wants them to persevere in their wilderness. Having gone out from their worldly place of safety to the conflict of following Christ, he wants them to maintain a good news perspective.
