God has blessed BBC with a thriving group of teenagers, who are passionate about righteousness. The youth group as adopted as its official theme verse Colossians 3:17, which reads, “And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.”
It is the deliberate intention of the BBC youth to glorify God in everything that they do. Regular youth meetings take place on Friday nights at the church, but the YP is involved in far more fellowship than merely Friday night gatherings.
The YP can often be found ministering together in ministries of the church, serving the church by providing special periodic services to the greater body. We thank God for such a vibrant, Christlike body of young people in the church.
POWER Camp
For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height—to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.

POWER Camp—undoubtedly the highlight of the BBC youth calendar—is an annual interchurch camp for teenagers in Grades 8-12. Each year, teens from various churches gather at the YFC-CYARA campsite near Hekpoort.
The word “POWER” is an acronym for the five-point goal of power camp, which is to promote in Christian teens: Purity, Obedience, Worship, Endurance, and Righteousness.
POWER camp is a highlight of youth ministry at BBC (as well as the other churches that participate), and the teens always return fired up for more zealous service to the Lord.
The main focus of POWER camp—quite apart from all the fun and games—is an intense, focused time around the Word of God. Each year, a special speaker is invited to exhort the teens in attendance to greater heights of purity, obedience, worship, endurance and righteousness.
