Secure, Yet … Beware (Numbers 25:1–18)

Numbers Exposition

God had blessed, and would continue to bless, Israel in a tremendous way. But blessing would not be the nation’s only legacy. Israel would soon fall into deep sin and under severe judgement. Among the other lessons we learn from this chapter is that we should take heed while we stand lest we fall. Our security in Christ does not exempt us from the responsibility to be aware of the dangers that surround us.
