Helping Our Churches to Be More Outward Focused (1 Thessalonians 1:1–10)

We live in an age in which God’s glory was must be driven through gospel-centred, Christ-centred, God-glorifying churches. For this to happen, the gospel must go to people in word, power and the Holy Spirit—and with full assurance. Our churches need to be more outward focused if this will happen, and three things are required for a church to be outward focused: The church must be gospel-drive, must have elders who are among people for their good, and must have elders that the church can imitate.

Scripture References: 1 Thessalonians 1:1-10

From Series: "Sola 5 Conference 2018"

The sermons in this series were preached at the 2018 annual Sola 5 Conference hosted by BBC. The theme of the Conference was “Partnered to Plant,” and the messages focused on the need for churches to associate with one another in church planting and revitalisation efforts.
