In Romans 15:14 we see Paul’s confidence in the Roman believers because of their goodness, knowledge and ability to admonish one another. It is only through the gospel that we can be filled with goodness. It is only through the Scriptures that we can be filled with knowledge. It is only because of the Holy Spirit, that we can rightly understand and make use of that knowledge for the sake of the God’s glory, as we admonish one another.
