Faith that Overcomes the World (1 John 5:1–5)
Christian faith is not an ethereal emotional fog or mere mental assent. Christian faith is rooted and grounded in the person and work of Jesus Christ. Christian faith is spiritual but works itself out in physical love and obedience. Ultimately it is Christian faith that overcomes the world.
