CloseEvery nation has requirements for those who want to call it home. Matthew 7 shows us that the kingdom of heaven is no different. Unfortunately, it is possible to be deceived about one’s citizenship. Matthew 7:21–23 helps us to examine our own “papers” by showing us some common counterfeits, a warning to the illegal immigrant, and the marks of a true patriot.
