CloseThe concepts of philanthropy and, in the business world, philanthrocapitalism are buzzwords today. Charitable foundations, such as the Bill and Malinda Gates Foundation, seek to make a notable difference in the world. Is this what it means to love one’s neighbour as oneself? In fact, it means so much more than mere “charity.” To comprehensively love one’s neighbour is to comprehensively pursue his or her good.
