A Cry from the Pit (Psalm 88:1–18)


Any believer can go down into a dark pit. This could be the result of sin, but it is not necessarily so. The psalmist was in a deep pit, and when he found himself there, he responded as a Christian should: He cried to the Lord from the pit.
