I was recently blessed to participate in the Two Oceans Ultramarathon in Cape Town; blessed to have the health, the knees, the hips and the ankles to do so. It was exciting to be one of among some 27,000 runners who descended on the Mother
Words. The tongue. Communication. It’s complicated, with plenty of opportunity for sin. That is why I find the book of Proverbs so convicting. Too often I sin with my speech; I sinfully wound with my words—sometimes by speaking, sometimes by my silence. Sometimes silence screams.
I recently read the book, Practicing Affirmation by Sam Crabtree. If I could afford to, I would buy a copy for every member of BBC. It really is that good. It is the first book that I have come across that specifically deals with this
