Introducing Wisdom (Proverbs 1:1)
At the end of a long life, Moses knew the priority of life: wise living. His prayer revealed this priority: “So teach us to number our days, that we might gain a heart of wisdom” (Psalm 90:12). What is the priority of your life? Where on the list of your resolutions is wisdom found? Is it there at all? Have you resolved for improved wisdom? There is no better way to fulfil this resolve than to turn to the book of Proverbs.
