Revival is the need of the church, not the world. Sinners need regeneration; saints need revival. Revival is divine intervention in the normal course of spiritual things. In revival, human personalities are overshadowed and human programs are abandoned. Man retires into the background as the Lord takes the field. For the church to experience revival, it needs three proper perspectives: a proper perspective of the glory of God; a proper perspective of the gravity of sin; and a proper perspective of the grace of God.
