CloseThe Bible describes the heart as being the core being of a person; it’s what makes us tick. Throughout its pages, the Bible refers to the heart as that spiritual part of us where our emotions and desires dwell. It is described at the same time as the fountain of our joys and the source of our wickedness. We would do well to regularly examine our hearts, and the text under consideration allows us to perform a cardiac examination through an analysis of the hearts of the people in the passage.
