Christians have no promise of not getting sick. We have no promise that COVID-19 will not kill us. We have no promise that we will not experience financial setback in what are sure to be trying economic times ahead of us. The sooner we face this reality, the better. At the same time, it is all too easy for anxiety to settle in. Matthew 6:19–34 helps us to biblically, faithfully, and fruitfully face the crisis we are in.
