Can’t We Change the Subject? (Proverbs 7:1–27)
By the time we reach Proverbs 7 in our reading, we may wonder with a touch of sanctified annoyance, is the writer absolutely obsessed with sex? Can’t we change the subject? Apparently, however, God knows that young men, and not-so-young people, need to hear about this again. Proverbs 7 offers divine wisdom for sexuality—particularly the dangers lurking at the street corners where seduction plies its soul-destroying trade.
