Accepted by God (Genesis 4:1–8)

To be disregarded or rejected is painful. It can be devastating in so many ways. We all want to be regarded—to be accepted. But life is not always like that, and most of us can relate to the sorrow of being rejected. The greatest disregard that anyone can face is to be rejected by God. That is the worst of all rejections, and its effects will be unending. Conversely, there can be no better experience than to know that you are accepted by God. To know God and to be known by God is the pinnacle of existence.
